Imperial Hotel Eumundi Welcomes New $350,000 Band Room Renovation

One of Queensland's most beloved regional venues – Imperial Hotel Eumundi – has had a makeover, with owners officially unveiling the results of its new $350,000 renovation.

The venue is now home to a refreshed band room which underlines the commitment of its new owners, the Comiskey Group, to the live music experience.

Boasting pressed metal textures and ambient chandelier lighting, the retro “old-Hollywood feel” of the venue is complemented by refined finishes that pay homage to the venue’s storied past while setting the stage for its future. Alongside enhanced acoustics, professional lighting rigs, and an upgrades stage setup, the venue presents itself as one worthy of hosting the best of all touring artists.

“This band room has hosted an incredible lineup over the years, from local talent to household names,” says Comiskey Group Director, Rob Comiskey. “Our vision was to create a room that feels intimate, cinematic, and unforgettable. It’s now the kind of place artists want to play—and fans never want to leave.”

The uniquely-placed venue also finds itself overlooking the Eumundi Brewery, which has itself recently been purchased by the Comiskey Group from Lion, providing a special connection between the region’s vibrant music culture and its heritage of craft brewing.

With plenty of gigs already on the calendar for the coming months, The Imperial Hotel is already asserting itself as a place to be for music-lovers in regional Queensland, with Boutique Accommodation also offered as part of their facilities.

According to owners, the nascent band room renovation is just the start of The Imperial Hotel’s evolution, with stage two of its redevelopment underway as part of their commitment to establish the venue as a cultural and entertainment cornerstone for the region.
