Drake Hits Up Melbourne Cocktail Bar

Drake has kept the party going on his lengthy Australian tour, and last night, he hit up the Prahran-based cocktail bar, Electric Bar.

The second Melbourne entertainment venue he’s enjoyed this month, the Canadian rapper reportedly arrived at Electric Bar at midnight and stayed until closing (3 am).

Posting a video from the venue on his Instagram Stories—not only did Drake’s entourage reportedly stay until 3 am, but they also proclaimed Electric Bar as their “favourite venue in Australia.”

Drake and his crew are reportedly “very keen” to return to the space, having enjoyed Hennessy, vodka, and “plenty of Red Bull.”

Earlier this month (1 February), Drake enjoyed karaoke and performed a string of his own tracks, Pipe Down, Rich Baby Daddy, Faithful, and Trust Issues, at the Melbourne hotspot, Maison Bâtard’s Le Club. Performing for approximately 100 guests in the intimate, no-phones venue, Drake reportedly played a full-length, 90-minute surprise set.

Drake’s Anita Max Win Australian tour began last week at Perth’s RAC Arena, where the rapper promised to give two lucky groups in the audience $20,000 each. Over the last two nights, he’s performed at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, where he’ll return for another two shows tomorrow and Thursday.
