Days Like These… With Diesel will return tonight, detailing another iconic show cemented in Aussie history.

Airing at 8:30pm on ABC TV Plus and ABC iView, tonight’s episode will tell the story of Perth legends Eurogliders and their memorable performance at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney in 1984, with host Mark Lizotte (aka Diesel) sitting down with previously married band members Grace Knight and Bernie Lynch.

“Want to see some interviews about the concert and other shenanigans with Bernie and myself??” Knight shared. “It goes for about an hour and contains footage from our 1984 concert at the Hordern Pavilion. I think you'll enjoy this!”

She added: “Watch the YouTube trailer... yes, that's me doing a handstand on stage.”

Premiering earlier this year, Jet’s 2004 performance at The Forum kicked things off before Baby Animals, Hunters & CollectorsThe Angels, Diesel, Rose Tattoo and Jimmy Barnes were featured until a break in June.

The remaining episodes this year will revisit shows from Archie Roach, Icehouse, Troy Cassar-Daley and Cold Chisel.

When the series was first announced, Lizotte said: “Days Like These…with Diesel has been an absolute delight and honour to host.

“The series brings together some of the most quintessential Australian bands from the past few decades, that help define our nation’s recent music past, and celebrates important, moments in their concert history."

The 12 episodes feature a mix of archival footage and interviews to revisit Australia's most iconic concerts and tell the stories behind them.

Lizotte chats to the people who were at these seminal shows, from band members, tour managers as well as musicians from other groups in attendance. He explores the reasons that these concerts were such memorable events, showcasing the unique circumstances that led to each of the shows.
