'Days Like These With Diesel' returns to ABC tonight.
Rose Tattoo members Angry Anderson and Mark Evans will recount the band’s seminal 1993 gig at Boggo Road Gaol on tonight’s episode of Days Like These With Diesel.
Former CEO of record label Alberts, Fifa Riccobono will also appear in the episode, airing tonight at 8:30pm on ABC TV Plus and ABC iView.
The performance, featuring the original line-up of Angry Anderson, Peter Wells, Geordie Leech and Mick Cocks reuniting to celebrate the closing of the jail, was released on DVD almost three decades ago.
Hosted by musician Mark Lizotte, aka Diesel, Days Like These... revisits “some of the most brilliant and unforgettable moments in Australian music history”.
Jet’s 2004 performance at The Forum kicked things off last month before Baby Animals, Hunters & Collectors, The Angels and Diesel were featured in episodes two to five.
Following Rose Tattoo tonight, Jimmy Barnes will feature next week before Eurogliders, Archie Roach, Icehouse, Troy Cassar-Daley and Cold Chisel take focus later in the year.
