Daryl BraithwaiteAussie legend Daryl Braithwaite has been admitted to hospital due to an unspecified illness this week and has been forced to cancel some upcoming shows.
The renowned singer not only pulled out of his performance at last night's Australian Open, but has also cancelled sets at the Red Hot Summer Tour in Mornington this weekend.
Braithwaite took to Facebook yesterday to announce the news.
"I unfortunately and regrettably have had to cancel this week’s shows due to illness and sudden admission into hospital," the statement reads.
The post continues, "I am hoping to make a speedy recovery and be back doing shows very soon."
