More Linkin Park More Linkin Park

Last night (14 November), American rockers Linkin Park announced a massive world tour to take place throughout the majority of 2025. The catch? No Australian dates were listed.

However, there’s reason to be hopeful. On 11 and 12 February, Linkin Park will perform at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan. On 16 February, the band will play at a yet-to-be-announced venue in Jakarta, Indonesia. Between that show and their next performance at the Las Vegas music festival Sick New World on 12 April, there’s a sizeable gap in the group’s touring schedule.

Considering our proximity to Indonesia, could tour promoters Live Nation announce surprise dates for Linkin Park in Australia in March 2025, or will we have to wait until their world tour ends in mid-November? We’ll just have to wait and see. Check out the tour dates below.

Mike Shinoda said of the tour, “Getting back out on the road has been incredible. The fans’ support is overwhelming, and we’re ready to take this energy even further around the world. FROM ZERO is a new chapter for us, and we’re so excited to share it with everyone on a bigger scale.”

Linkin Park last toured Australia in 2013, appearing high on the Soundwave Festival bill near Metallica and blink-182. In 2017, following the passing of lead vocalist Chester Bennington, the band went on an indefinite hiatus before a surprise return this year.

Linkin Park are touring in support of their new album, From Zero, which was released today. It is the band's first album in seven years and the first to feature new vocalist Emily Armstrong alongside rapper, singer, and producer Mike Shinoda. The band made headlines around the globe when they announced their comeback in September.

In the lead-up to the release of From Zero, Linkin Park have shared the charting singles The Emptiness Machine, Heavy Is The Crown, and Over Each Other, with Two Faced dropping earlier this week. Heavy Is The Crown was this year’s official League of Legends World Championship Anthem.

Mike Shinoda said of the band’s reunion, “Before LINKIN PARK, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking.

“Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future—embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what LINKIN PARK has become over the years and excited about the journey ahead.”
