The prog-rock veterans appear to be making their reunion a bit more permanent
Just under 12 months to the day since announcing that they would reunite for a run of shows mid-last year, celebrated Sydney prog-rock heroes Cog have unveiled a new — albeit brief — batch of tour dates from late next month.
The cult-favourite rockers will follow up their acclaimed 2016 run — which attracted a rabid response, rave reviews and brought word of a new album in the works — with three shows beginning with a showing at the Pier Hotel, Frankston, mid-next month.
From there, they'll head up to Sydney's Revesby Workers Club, and round out with a date in Brisbane, at Eatons Hill Hotel. Both of those shows will be licensed all-ages affairs.
Last year's gigs were the first live outings for Cog in nearly six years, following their dissolution in 2010. Their most recent album, sophomore LP Sharing Space, was released in 2008.
