Chance The Rapper Wants To Collab With Peppa Pig And Baby Shark

In a potential collaboration we would have never seen coming, Chance The Rapper has revealed he'd be keen to link up with both Peppa Pig and Baby Shark to drop some fire tracks in a bid to impress his young daughters. 

Speaking on Late Night With Seth Meyers on May 1, Chance was asked if his daughters, who are aged seven and three, are fans of his music.

“Yeah, they do like my music. They’re more into Peppa Pig and their contemporaries [though]. I have a few songs that they’ll listen to. They like Let’s Go On The Run [from 2019’s The Big Day],” Chance replied.

Meyers then asked, “In a desperate attempt to gain their affection, would you ever do a collaboration with Peppa?”

“Out of my own desperation I’d do a track with Peppa,” Chance admitted. 

“Peppa, if you’re listening, I’m trying to work. Or at least get some autographs for my kids. Shout out to Peppa Pig and Baby Shark. I’d work with Baby Shark in a heartbeat.”

It comes following another interview from Chacne last week in which he reflected on his past substance abuse issues amid the ten-year anniversary of his mixtape Acid Rap.

Acid Rap dropped back in April 2013 and featured a slew of music heavyweights on it, including Noname, Childish Gambino, Vic Mensa, Twista, Nate Fox and more.

In an interview with Complex, Chance opened up about the project while getting candid about how his life could have turned out very differently had he continued down the path he was on. 

Asked what his life would have looked like had he not evolved as an artist following, Chance shared: “I probably would’ve died, to be honest.”

“The way that I was living at that time, I had everything in excess. So right after I dropped the project, I went on a few tours where I didn’t really make any money. But then I went on my first tour, my headlining on tour, where I made some money. And I went and bought a crib or rented a crib, this fat ass mansion in LA."

“This is my first time living outside of my parents’ house in another city and having money and doing a lot of drugs, you know what I’m saying? A lot of Xans, you know what I’m saying? Too many Xans. And just becoming a different person, a lesser, lesser person than I am now." 

"I think if I hadn’t had my spirit tugged on, literally, and a calling to become a better version of myself, then I would’ve died,” he added.
