Owners of Victoria's Caravan Music Club have announced they will be moving on from their home in Bentleigh East after being forced to shut down.
In a statement issued today, owners said the ongoing pandemic, which forced the venue to close down in March, has resulted in the decision to move on and they will now set up shop at Archies Creek Hall in Archies Creek.
"Like so many, the onset of the coronavirus crisis knocked us off our feet. Our vibrant happening worlds at Bentleigh East and Archies Creek suddenly went eerily silent 8 weeks ago," the statement reads.
"Miracles might happen for folks like our Prime Minister but unfortunately not for the live music business...
"Therefore it is with much sadness I announce that the Caravan's 13 year suburban odyssey is over... "

Caravan Music Club has hosted gigs from a stack of big local and international talent in recent years, including Daryl Braithwaite, Tex Perkins, Vanessa Amorosi, Kylie Auldist, Tim Freedman and Diesel.
The news follows the announcement that beloved Melbourne venue The Spotted Mallard has gone up for sale this week, while revered Collingwood venue The Gasometer Hotel also went up for sale last month.
