It’s a rock bonanza at The Espy
Rock fans in Melbourne will be licking their lips in anticipation with a massive rock triple-bill announced today, seeing Buckcherry, Richie Ramone and The Art sharing the same stage at the Espy this April.
In a special one-off show, the three acts will be set to blow the roof off Melbourne's iconic venue, bringing together the American hard rock, the sounds of a legendary punk drummer and a bit of Aussie-bred rock from Sydney.
Buckcherry were formed from the streets of Los Angeles in 1995, merging power riffs and the style and sleaze of Hollywood, delivering an energetic show that will have fans' adrenaline pumping with tunes like Crazy Bitch, Lit Up and Sorry, as well a host of tunes from their six studio records.
Richie Ramone, drummer for iconic American punk rockers The Ramones, is one of the few living links to the legendary band, playing on records Too Tough to Die, Animal Boy and Halfway To Sanity, and writing characteristic tune Somebody Put Something in My Drink, unleashing a range of hits Down Under.
Rounding out the trio is Sydney-based The Art, one of Australia's most travelled rock exports, sharing stages with other huge acts like Pixies, Them Crooked Vultures and Marilyn Manson, the four-piece now given the opportunity to play a huge show close to home.
Tickets are on sale now.
