Brody Dalle Attacks Macy’s For Using Her Image Without Permission

Australian-born punk legend Brody Dalle has attacked US retail mega chain Macy’s for allegedly using her image to sell a new line of clothing.

The singer-songwriter posted a picture on Twitter of an instore promo that features a red stencil-like graffiti art in the shape of what Dalle claims to be her, which promotes the store’s Fashion Rocks clothing line.

Not one to shy away from conflict, as evident when taking on Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez last year, Dalle called out the store for stealing her image for their “crappy” campaign.

“Here I am selling Macy’s crappy fashion rocks campaign without being asked,” Dalle tweeted.

“Macy’s doesn’t ask they just STEAL.”

Dalle toured Australia last year in support of her debut solo record, Diploid Love, opening for husband Josh Homme's band, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Nine Inch Nails.
