Harvest Rock II gets better and better with its second artist announcement.
Just weeks after Adelaide’s newest music festival, Harvest Rock, dropped its line-up starring headliners Jamiroquai and Beck, the event has made a second artist announcement that contains two special exclusive sets.
Bernard Fanning, of Powderfinger and solo fame, and English singer-songwriter Jade Bird – making her Australian debut – will perform exclusively at Harvest Rock II.
The second artist announcement also includes multi-instrumentalist and ARIA Award winner Tash Sultana, Aussie psych-pop outfit Babe Rainbow, Melbourne indie rockers Floodlights, jazz-funk instrumentalists Surprise Chef and heart-on-her-sleeve alt-country songwriter Charlie Collins joining the line-up.
Like last year’s debut event, Harvest Rock II is a two-day event, running from Saturday, 28, to Sunday, 29 October, at the Rymill Park & King Rodney Parks in Adelaide. Tickets are on sale now via the festival website.
As well as the second artist announcement and this year’s headliners, Harvest Rock II proudly showcases sets by Nile Rodgers & Chic, Aussie favourites Ocean Alley, Paul Kelly, indie rock heavyweights Bright Eyes, Built To Spill, The Lemon Twigs, Sparks, New Zealand’s Ladyhawke, Santigold, Warpaint, and many more.
Extra local acts arrive in the form of Flight Facilities (DJ set), Thelma Plum, Chet Faker, Julia Jacklin, tribute supergroup The Rolling Stone Revue (starring Magic Dirt’s Adalita, Tex Perkins, and Tim Rogers of You Am I), Bad//Dreems, and Vera Blue, amongst others. You can find the line-up – with the second artist announcement additions – below.
