South West Sydney-based hip hop artist Barkaa has signed a management deal with Vyva Entertainment.

The Music can exclusively reveal that the Malyangapa, Barkindji woman will join the roster after working with the agency at last year's 4ESydney hip hop festival.

“We don’t sign artists often, but this was a no brainer and one of those opportunities you just can’t say no to. It just felt right," Vyva director, Vyvienne Abla, told The Music.

"Barkaa is an incredible woman, her strength, artistry and drive is inspiring and we are privileged to have her and I’m super excited and humbled to be working with her."

Barkaa added, "Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better support network and so honoured to be a part of the Vyva fam and that's exactly how it feels, it feels like family.
