American alt-metal band Bad Omens will return to Australia in January 2025.
For the tour, Bad Omens will be joined by experimental artist Poppy (whose latest output has been pretty damn heavy) and new rock act House Of Protection. It’s the ultimate bill for fans of modern metalcore and alt-metal stylings.
Starting the tour at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Thursday, 23 January, the groups will then head to Brisbane’s Riverstage on Saturday, 25 January, and wrap up the tour at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday, 28 January.
The artist pre-sale opens today at 12 pm local time (for those subscribed to Bad Omens’ website), as does a pre-sale for Mastercard cardholders. Both pre-sales end on Thursday, 24 October, at 12 pm local time. The general public on-sale begins on Thursday, 24 October, at 1 pm local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Live Nation Australia website.
Bad Omens will tour Australia for the second time in their career, following their debut run as part of Knotfest Australia and a string of sideshows in March 2023. Unfortunately, that tour was hampered by singer Noah Sebastian's struggles with vocal issues, which led to ending their Sydney sideshow early and cancelling their appearance at Knotfest in Melbourne.
In 2022, Bad Omens released their third album, THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND. Earlier this year, they shared its experimental sibling album, Concrete Jungle [The OST]. Bad Omens have racked up an incredible 1.9 billion streams worldwide and gathered international acclaim.

Touring mate Poppy appeared on the Concrete Jungle [The OST] album and collaborated with hardcore band Knocked Loose this year. Next month, she’s set to release her metal project, Negative Spaces.
House Of Protection contains former members of the bands The Chariot and Fever 333, Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta, respectively. The group released their debut EP, GALORE, earlier this year, which featured production credits from former Bring Me The Horizon keyboardist and songwriter Jordan Fish and Night Verses’ Nick DePirro.
