Aussies Taking Over On Stacked US Festival Line-ups

Australia's Dom Dolla and Timmy Trumpet will be rubbing shoulders with David Guetta, Afrojack, Grimes, M.I.A., Zedd, Tiesto, and many more exciting electronic music artists in March 2023 at Miami's Ultra Music Festival. Dolla will play back-to-back with Brazilian DJ Vintage Culture in a "wild one".

As of yesterday, Dolla currently features on over 6,000 Spotify playlists that reach more than 67 million subscribers. On his own, he has 4.15 million monthly listeners on the platform, with his most-streamed track, Miracle Maker featuring Clementine Douglas, reaching 38.7 million listeners.

Timmy Trumpet is getting a playlist reach of an eye-watering 118 million listeners, with his top seven tracks earning over 10 million streams and his highest-streamed song, Call Me, with Gabry Ponte and R3HAB currently hitting 27.6 million people.

Flume, The Kid LAROI, and Alison Wonderland are billed high on the line-up, hanging out alongside Paramore, SZA, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lil Nas X, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, The Backseat Lovers, Tove Lo, and Yung Gravy.

Alison Wonderland was just named Forbes' Electronic Artist Of The Year. On the publication's Best Music Of 2022 wrap-up, they commented on Wonderland's advanced wisdom, honesty and eclecticism. The blurb also reads, "Her superb Loner album just told her intimate and revealing stories via electronic music. A gifted and daring voice, Wonderland, who is branching out soon with her Whyte Fang side project, continues to display the artistic vision for a compelling career for decades to come."

The Kid LAROI is currently the 72nd most streamed artist in the world on Spotify. That's pretty darn impressive when millions of musicians upload songs onto the music giant daily. With songs as dominant as STAY and WITHOUT ME, The Kid LAROI presently features on over 16,000 playlists that more than 257 million people are listening to. He's even beaten Flume regarding Spotify popularity ranking, playlisting, and overall reach.

Aussies are also heading to the South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival in March 2023, with the second round of artist announcements featuring tons of artists from around the globe announced today. 

Representing Australia are INXS keyboardist and composer Andrew Farriss, Annie Hamilton, Melbourne rockers Civic, newcomer Cody Jon, Floodlights, Sydney-based reggae artist Gold Fang, Huntly, King Stingray, two-piece noise band Party Dozen, Salarymen, Mornington Peninsula singer Tulliah, Tushar, and Woodes.
