In a sale that will make guitar nerds lose sleep and non-guitar folk want to master the art, Australian music retailer Allans Billy Hyde is set to open The Vault and sell $1.5m worth of guitar history, with limited edition, signed and numbered pieces from Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Jimmy Page and more up making up the collection.
There are 50 epic axes in the collection which will be sold together, so you’re out of luck if you were thinking you could mortgage your house or sell you car to claim single items.
