Linkin Park last toured Australia in 2013, appearing on the Soundwave Festival bill alongside Metallica and blink-182, and playing a bunch of headline dates.
The band are currently on their Be Part of Something World Tour, which hasn’t yet featured Australian dates. Their 2025 tour dates end on 16 November in Mexico City and their 2026 dates begin on 29 May in Sweden, leaving plenty of time for a headline tour or potential Good Things Festival performances in December.
Stay tuned to Linkin Park’s channels and the Good Things line-up, which drops next Tuesday, 12 August, at 10 am AEST. Wondering what the band sounds like live these days? Check out a clip from their sold-out show at Wembley Stadium in late June below.
Following vocalist Chester Bennington’s tragic passing in 2017, Linkin Park went on hiatus—they didn’t tour or release new music until last year, when they returned with their first album in seven years, From Zero, which marked their first album with new vocalist Emily Armstrong, who shares the mic with rapper, singer, and producer Mike Shinoda.
Shinoda said of the current era of Linkin Park, “We are so grateful for the incredible reception to From Zero. This new chapter, our continuing journey, and the connection between the band and fans has been more than we could’ve hoped for. Thank you for listening.”
Linkin Park presently comprises original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and Joe Hahn, plus new bandmates Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain.
Shinoda said of Armstrong and Brittain’s fits in the band last September, “The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created.
“We feel really empowered with this new line-up and the vibrant and energised new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touchpoints we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones.”
