Rising pop princess aleksiah is showing no signs of slowing down.
Though she is currently voyaging around Europe, supporting queer pop-rock artist Beth McCarthy on their The Hot and Stupid Tour, and is soon to take on Primavera Pro in Barcelona, she has just announced a national tour - dubbed the cry about it tour - that takes place across the month of July and tips into August.
The Adelaide-based star wrote on Instagram, “it’s been so long since ive gotten to play shows and ive been absolutely itching at the chance to get back out there.”
Well, now she is scratching that itch.
The tour is in support of aleksiah’s latest single, ‘The Hit,’ which was only just released on Thursday, May 22nd. The track is instantly catchy, an upbeat but contemplative ear-worm which centres on “the anxiety of living up to expectations.”

For the Perth show, aleksiah will be supporting indie rock group Old Mervs. She will be brining her “bestie” alt-indie pop talent Chloe Parché along on the cry about it tour with her.
aleksiah promises, “these shows are gonna be my funnest yet and i can’t wait to celebrate something very cool with u guys.”
Fans are encouraged to comment ‘HIT’ on the Instagram post promoting the tour in order to gain first access to pre-sale tickets when they go live on Monday, June 2nd, at 10 am ACST.
