Tickets to AC/DC’s highly anticipated tour of Australia in November and December went on sale this morning, and due to phenomenal demand, new dates have already been added.
As of 11:40 am AEST, Sydney and Brisbane have received new shows. As The Music reported earlier this week, tickets are going on sale at staggered timings today to allow for extraordinary numbers of fans trying to access tickets.
For the band’s Sydney show, tickets went on sale at 9 am, followed by the on-sale for their Adelaide show at 10 am, and 11 am for Brisbane. For Melbourne punters, tickets will be available at 1 pm AEST, and for Perth fans, at 1 pm AWST.
The second Sydney show will now take place on Tuesday, 25 November, also at Accor Stadium. In Brisbane, the second show will occur on Thursday, 18 December, at Suncorp Stadium. Tickets for both new shows—described as “second and final” concerts—are on sale now via Ticketek.
Since second shows were added for Sydney and Brisbane within an hour of tickets going on sale, The Music predicts additional dates will be announced in other cities later today. Keep an eye on the TEG Van Egmond Instagram page, Ticketek, and AC/DC’s social media profiles throughout the day so you can find out when new shows are announced.

UPDATE 2:15 PM Thursday, 26 June: A second and final show has been added at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The second show will take place on Sunday, 16 November, and tickets are available now.
AC/DC will tour Australia for the first time in a decade later this year, and they’ll be joined by local rockers Amyl And The Sniffers on all dates.
For this tour, AC/DC comprises vocalist Brian Johnson, Angus Young on lead guitar, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney (not to be confused with The Living End’s Chris Cheney).
