360High-flying Melbourne rapper 360 – Matthew Colwell – has split with the New World Artists booking agency effective immediately.
The ARIA-Award winning artist announced that he had parted with the agency this afternoon via a press release from his management company Crucial Music, the head of which, Rae Harvey, is now taking all enquiries for his upcoming Australian shows.
His North American dates will still be handled by Rob Zifarelli at The Agency Group.
Crucial Music's artists have all been represented by New World Artists until now, and today representatives from the management company and New World Artists confirmed to theMusic.com.au that the other acts on the roster, Children Collide, Gyroscope, Hunting Grounds and The Living End, will all remain on New World Artists' roster.
No comment was made on 360's departure.
It has been a hugely successful year for 360, with his album Falling & Flying spending 52 consecutive weeks in the ARIA Chart and spawning hit singles such as the four-times platinum Boys Like You (with Gossling) and platinum selling Child and Run Alone. He is about to launch into the American and Canadian markets and today announced his first run of shows in the territory, coinciding with an appearance at the South By Southwest conference.
He has been working on new material in recent months and has a mixtape in the pipeline.
