'It's All About Celebrating Mob!': 2021 NIMAs Nominees On How It Feels To Be Recognised

Ahead of the National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs) returning to the historic Darwin Amphitheatre on August 7, we caught up with Baker Boy, Chasing Ghosts, Sycco, Budjerah, J -Milla, Miiesha, and Tia Gostelow to hear all about the excitement of being a 2021 nominee.

Baker Boy

Chasing Ghosts

“I can’t believe it! It’s insane that I got two nominations, I’ve never been nominated for an award before. I really didn’t think I’d be nominated for anything because there’s been so much incredible music coming out from Indigenous artists and I’m really honoured and grateful I get to be alongside them this year.”
