Resist The Thought sign with Skull And Bones Records
Western Sydney's Resist The Thought have signed to Skull And Bones Records for the release of their upcoming full-length album. Forming in 2007 and releasing 2 well received EP's in 2008 and 2010 respectively, this band has toured around Australia multiple times. In 2011, they headlined their own tours as well as sharing the stage with acts such as Suicide Silence, All Shall Perish, The Acacia Strain and more. The guys have been in lock down for the latter part of 2011, writing and rehearsing the material for their debut full-length release in early 2012. Comeback Kid guitarist quits
Comeback Kid have announced that guitarist Casey Hjelmberg has left the band. Stu Ross (ex-Misery Signals, Living With Lions) will be filling for the group.The band issued the following statement:We very unfortunately have to announce that our friend and guitar player Casey Hjelmberg has decided to leave Comeback Kid. The split is completely amicable and we're thankful to have spent as much time with him over the past few years as we have. He let us know early last year that it was time to move on with his life, and we're sorry to see him go.Casey has been in Comeback Kid since our original vocalist Scott left in 2006 and Andrew took over vocal duties. He has been a true friend to us all and huge part of why we've been able to keep at this for as long as we have. We wish him all the luck in the world and we're sure he'll be just fine. In the meantime, our friend Stu Ross will be filling in on guitar. Stu has been on tour with us a bunch with both Misery Signals and Living with Lions...
