The global music distribution company Xelon has just announced a major competition that aims to elevate women and gender-non-conforming music creators.

The competition, called ‘ASCEND,’ is touted as “your chance to take your music to the next level.” A coveted prize pack to help artists achieve their music goals is on offer.

The independently-owned distributor has worked with such major successes as Rüfüs Du Sol, Dom Dolla, and more.

To participate in this exciting competition, applicants must fill out this form and include a link to an unreleased track that they wish to unleash into the world. The track can either be fully finished or a demo.

Applicants have the opportunity to win:

  • Distribution through Xelon Digital

  • DSP Pitching & Guidance

  • Community Radio Pitching (AU) & Guidance

  • A&R Session with Sweat It Out featuring KLP

  • Golden Hour Release Strategy Session

  • Mentorship Session with Beatrice (Haiku Hands)

  • Lifetime Access to Music Production for Women’s Intro Course + 6-Month Free MPW Membership

Entrants must be independent artists who are not signed to any record label, and must be the sole copyright holder(s) of the submitted track. The submitted track must be an original, unreleased work. The application form specifies that the Xelon distribution deal is for the selected track, with options to continue for future releases.
