Witness The Mundaynes – a post-punk, new wave force hailing from NAARM/Melbourne. Having just released their debut EP, this band draws influences from the likes of Shame, Talking Heads and early INXS.
The 6 piece has been praised for their high energy live performances and a raw passion for the love of music, expressed by each member in their own distinct way. The Mundaynes are thrilled to be sharing their debut EP with you all at the Bergy Bandroom.Joining them on stage are Exiles. Their music - a gritty blend of post-punk energy and rock’n’roll - captures the spirit of their live shows, translating the raw energy of their performances into every track they lay down. Their influences are evident in their music, with nods to the garage rock sounds of The Strokes, Les Savy Fav and the post-punk abrasiveness of Fontaines D.C.A self proclaimed ‘mutt’ album, De Porsals newest album Dishlickers spans everything from egg punk and jangle pop to blues and funk.
