Calling all lovers of Sting, Harry Connick Jr’s funk albums, Jamiroquai, Stevie Wonder… music with soul and groove. Presenting a band of heavy hitters, pushing each other to interpret great songs with feel and passion. The Guides will take you on a journey of musical excellence, soaring through funk, jazz and popular music, paying homage to the songwriter’s craft, while expanding horizons through improvisation.

Led by Simon Watson, Vocalist / Piano player, and featuring some of the Brisbane music scene’s most highly regarded players including Sam Mitchell – Drums, Mark Peric – Bass, Aaron West – Guitar / Vocals and James Sandon – Saxophone, this is a show to get excited about – individual brilliance meeting synchronicity, great songs meeting great interpretation.
