What?
For almost forty years, Taste has brought together the finest artisans and makers from across the island to showcase our culture, community, and world-class produce on the waterfront of Nipaluna/Hobart.
We champion our island’s diversity, creativity, and the art of slow food. Every sip and every bite tells a story of Tasmania’s rich lands and pristine waters. Walking through the festival space, you’ll encounter the people responsible for some of the best food and drink offerings in the world.
Our island is a special place, and us Tasmanians value the art of slow food. We know good things are made with intention and care, and that’s why you’ll encounter food that’s as fresh as it gets, and wines, spirits, and brews that bear the mark of the unique land we live on here. We invite you to join us in celebrating Tasmania’s vibrant food scene where community, sustainability and deep connection to place converge in every dish and glass.

Golden TicketYour ultimate Taste experience. This all-access premium pass includes unlimited entry to the Taste and the VIP Yacht Club across all eight days, plus a ticket to the NYE Party. *Excludes access to The Yacht Club during NYE Party.
NYE PartyRing in the new year on the waterfront with a huge lineup of live music, DJs, delicious food and drinks, and the city’s best view of the fireworks. Your ticket grants entry to the NYE Party from 6pm–1:30am.
Taste PassSavour it all. This pass grants you entry across every day of the festival, so you can experience the best of the island’s food, drink and entertainment across all eight days, excluding the NYE Party. You can optionally upgrade your Taste Pass with unlimited Yacht Club entry upon checkout.
Day PassChoose your day with this flexible pass, which grants you entry for any one day of your choice. Single day tickets will be available closer to the event.Please note: Taste entry is free on Wednesday 31 December 12noon-4pm for the City of Hobart Community Day, so no day entry ticket is required for this date.
Yacht Club EntryGo on, treat yourself with an entry to Taste’s premium waterfront Yacht Club. Enjoy exclusive access to a private seating area and bar, with Yacht Club Entry available in ticketed five-hour sessions. Select your preferred time at checkout with any Day Pass, or purchase unlimited entry with your Taste Pass. Please note: Yacht Club is not available during the NYE Party.
City of Hobart Community DayFree entry on Wednesday 31 December from 12-4pm, in partnership with the City of Hobart. Gates reopen at 6pm for our ticketed New Year’s Eve event.For more information visit tasteofsummer.com.au
