Salt and Steel offer a raw, earthy rock experience, blending psychedelic elements with the grounded essence of rock roots and blues. The couple live full time in their van, ‘the solar powered rehearsal studio’ and have performed at festivals across Australia like Woodford Folk Festival, Party In the Paddock and Airlie Beach Festival of Music. Known for music that is ‘fierce, emotive and genuine,’ Nkechi Anele from Triple J Roots ‘n’ All describes them as a ‘dynamic duo who go from strength to strength, bringing nothing less than power and passion to their music.’

Beth ChiaBeth Chia blends edgy and ethereal in an indefinable mix of exotic roots rhythms. The intrigue in her songs comes from moody folk lyricism, a touch of grunge, and an ever present dance between fragility and power.
