PUNKS FOR PEACE — ANZAC DAY SHOW

This ANZAC Day, Punks for Peace is happening at The Junk Bar for an afternoon into evening of punk rock. The day carries deep meaning for many and Punks for Peace is your alternative way to spend ANZAC Day—loud, heartfelt, and together.Featuring local acts Rufusbaton, Eat City, Red Rockitz, Mistakes &. Down2Zero. Join us at The Junk Bar, and in the Skukum Lounge open from 1:30 with live music starting at 4. The kitchen will be fired up, and the beers flowing ... The Junk Bar and Oztix will be donating their booking fees to Wounded Heroes, supporting veterans and their families doing it tough. There will be a couple of raffles and giveaways on the night, generously supported by Aether Brewing, with all proceeds going to the same cause.No war. No hate. Just punk.

Wounded Heroes Australia is a National Defence community organisation dedicated to supporting Australian servicemen and women, veterans, and their families. Our mission is to ease the financial, emotional, and personal hardships that can arise from contemporary military life.

We deliver emergency assistance to current Australian Defence Force members, veterans, and their families who are experiencing financial crisis, homelessness, risk of homelessness, or family and domestic violence.
