Jesse I is one of Australia’s most respected reggae personalities, known globally as an authority on Jamaican music and a champion of roots, reggae, and dancehall. Since 1997, he has hosted his renowned radio show Babylon Burning on Melbourne’s PBS FM, earning a national award for Excellence in Music Programming. As a DJ, MC, and part of the Chant Down sound system, Jesse has supported legends like Chronixx, Lee Scratch Perry, and The Wailers Band. He’s toured extensively, performed internationally, and hosts the annual More Fire event. Jesse also runs a Jamaican vinyl business and the Jesse I Interviews podcast. Jesse will be playing a live vinyl set for us Sunday!
