Devon Street 'Kites' Single Launch

After a busy 2024 of WA tours and studio time, Devon Street are excited to launch their latest single, ‘Kites’, at the iconic Indian Ocean Hotel. Kites represents a significant artistic shift for the band, as they explore new territory with acoustic guitars and a softer falsetto, drawing inspiration from early Radiohead and Coldplay releases. Composed with a stripped back writing style, the track evokes the deep personal connections we form throughout childhood. It’s unique structure, melody, and chord progression pushes the sound beyond the Australian Indie scene, creating a vibe that is entirely authentic to them.

Known locally as the 'Indi Bar’, the Indian Ocean Hotel was the obvious choice for Devon Street’s largest headline show to date. Including performances from Perth favourites RubyHoo, Lazy Haze, and Outfront, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable night at Western Australia’s favourite summer hotspot.
