Dan Musil - EP Launch with Loz Irin-Ray

Genre-bending slide guitarist Dan Musil plays like no-one else, weaving otherworldly musical journeys and with incisive songwriting. Dan returns to the Wesley Anne bandroom for a special matinee solo show to launch his long-awaited EP. Melding masterful lap steel guitar and dobro with songwriting both honest and astute, Dan’s new EP journeys to where Irish tunes emerge from stomping blues, where eucalyptus-infused musical meditations meet driving groove & flowing phrase - the provocative and the calming. Before Dan takes the new EP on tour across regional Victoria, NSW & ACT, The Wesley Anne will host this special launch show featuring a unique musical reunion & special guests who appear on the record.The show will be opened with a set from multi-instrumentalst and songwriter Loz-Irin Ray. With piano and voice songwriter sensibilities influenced by folk, soul and jazz traditions, Loz Irwin-Ray creates music to make you think and feel, exploring the state of the world and the state of living within it. This will be a family-friendly show. Concession/unwaged tickets available. The show will take place on Wurundjeri Country.
