Flight Facilities chat moving on from their legacy dance music record 'Down To Earth', entering a new era in the form of 'FOREVER' and staying in touch and connected with Australian underground dance music.

"It'll be a performance - I think we're really coming into our own with the sound - we've been able to grow as musicians over time. The backdrop is gonna be sick we have Luke, the guitarist of Tapestry, doing our lighting design and he is a weapon. We have some cool stuff and we get to play new stuff so I am very excited to see how that translates and how really view these new songs"

We couldn't be a music site without being just a littttttle bit obsessed with lyrics - which is why The Music team are asking some of our favourite artists about their favourite lyrics in the new series, 'Wax Lyrical'. Ahead of the release of her debut solo album, 'Thornbird', we asked ThornBird, aka Vikki Thorn, about the songs that inspired her, and the lyrics that still stick in her mind.

"The three releases were, kind of, Trophy Eyes' way of being able to stay active during a lockdown. We kind of put them out for a bit of fun really - it was for us to kind of stay sane and a little bit of fun during otherwise a pretty dismal few years."

Friday night at Reunion Park in Melbourne was a night to remember. The stacked lineup included Mirrors, Justice For The Damned, Alpha Wolf & headliners, Polaris, who showed every attendee why they have catapulted to the top. HUGE doesn't even begin to cover this festival sized event & lineup. Fans were not left disappointed & no one would be mad about being able to re-live this night over.

Didirri has enlisted a bunch of great mates and awesome musos for his Brunswick Music Festival show this Sunday, March 13, with Jess Locke, RAT!hammock, Ruby Gill, Stevie Jean and Wilson Blackley joining him at Gilpin Park.
