Melbourne outfit Raging Hormones have just unleashed a blistering new track and music video to get you pumped for the weekend.
Premiering today via The Music, Going Out In Style is the first taste of the band’s debut EP, Public Fun - Part 1, which was produced by Greg Rietywk of Press Club and will drop next month.
The lead cut has been described as a “fearless call to arms” and is an anthem about “breaking free from everything that frustrates you in life, regardless of what that means for the future”.
Its accompanying music video was produced by vocalist Nick Manuell, who has done clips for Luca Brasi, The Bennies and more.
"The main idea behind this video was to make the viewer feel like they're in the band,” Manuell said.
“Like they're taken out of their lives and fully immersed into the action. One of our main goals for our live shows is to break down the barrier between the crowd and the band. We want it to feel like everyone in the room is one big entity all joined together in the sound and lights. Escaping from the real world for a while. This was the best way I could come up with of replicating that in music video format".

"I had planned to shoot this video using my good camera but when I was building the rig to mount it to my own face I dropped it. In that split second a low budget music video became a high budget music video. But we still got the job done".
Raging Hormones will launch the EP with a hometown show at Bergy Bandroom on June 10, supported by Vovos, Fan Girl, Tudor Club and Watty Thompson. Ticket and more info here.
