History has repeated once again for Perth’s RAC Arena, with the Western Australian venue being named Australia’s Best Indoor Arena for the third time in a row.
The honour was bestowed upon the acclaimed venue as part of their appearance in the nominations for the 2025 Stadium Awards, a fan-voted competition to determine the best stadiums in Australia across six different categories.
RAC Arena took out the category with 27.4% of the vote, narrowly emerging victorious over Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena, who received 26.9% of the vote. Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena sat in third place at 14.2%, while the Adelaide and Brisbane Entertainment Centres received 10.3% and 9.8% of the vote, respectively.
It’s the third time in as many years that RAC Arena has been named the country’s Best Indoor Arena, having scored 47% of the vote in both 2024 and 2023.
Another win occurred at the 2018 Awards, while it took out second place to Rod Laver Arena in both 2019 and 2021. The Awards were not held in 2020, and the category did not feature in 2022.
“Being named Australia’s Best Indoor Arena through public voting for the third year in a row is incredibly humbling,” said RAC Arena General Manager, Michael Scott. “It reflects the passion and energy from our team and the support of everyone who walks through our doors.
