What's the concept behind the clip? Take a day trip and film it. Show a bit of the WA countryside. And the band acting like idiots. Kicking Goals, lyrically, is about dealing with depression. The video is much more light hearted.
How long did it take to make? We filmed the clip in one day. Had it edited in another day in Texas.
Where did you film it? On the road between Perth and New Norcia, WA. In Canola Fields. In and around the monastery. At the pub. By a river. On farmland.
What's your favourite part of the clip? We had our friend Patrick Cone, in Dallas, Texas, edit the clip. He took our footage and made it into something (hopefully) amusing. I think it shows the fun we have together as friends and bandmates.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? We wanted the clip to encapsulate a bit of Western Australia. The history, the scenery. It's a beautiful landscape.
Will you be launching it? Yes. We're launching our third LP Stuck In Hope Valley on 21 Nov at the Odd Fellow (Norfolk) in Fremantle.
