Where does your band fall under the 'progressive' umbrella? Kinda falls under the 'we all listen to different music so when we write it comes out like a prog mash-up of Maroon 5 and Mr Bungle sitting in a saloon drinking lighter fluid while watching reruns of Buffy The Vampire Slayer... with the occasional dildo' category.
What's your personal definition of prog? What distinguishes it from other genres? Guess for me it comes down to song structure, if it doesn't follow traditional structure I guess it could be classed as 'progressive'.
Do you feel Australia's prog scene is on the rise at the moment? Not really. Maybe on an underground level. I mean Australia definitely has some great bands, but prog isn't really supported by radio etc so I don't think there is much of a rise going on. Except for in my pants when I listen to prog.

Is this your first Progfest (either as a punter or player)? If not what's your fave memory, if so what are you expecting? This will be our first Progfest actually, which is exciting because I've always wanted to be a part of one.
Does your band have any unique pre-show rituals? Not really, just the usual, stand in a circle, totally naked, placing our left hand on the left arse cheek of the guy next to you, engaging in three minutes of unbroken eye contact, a few words about what's for dinner, then we go out there and play the show.
If you could get absolutely anything on the rider, what would you ask for? Hmmm, maybe the cheese bread from Sizzler.
Which of the other acts are you most excited to see on the bill? Oh, there are so many but, if I had to pick one, probably Voyager. I just really like those fuckers, hey.
Do you have any advice for punters coming to see you at Progfest? Just hope you come and have a good time. There will be so many great bands there and Australia needs more festivals like this, so show your support.
