Briefly describe your show. Ok, Intriguing: Hell Yeah! The Love Chronicles is a totally improvised show and will be 100% different every night. Basically I am going to ask the audience to give me a suggestion of something that they would like me to fall in love with. Then I am going to take that suggestion, embrace it, wrap it in bacon, deep fry it, then throw it in a blender, and deliver that lovely juice deep into my subconscious and then inject in some explosives, and some fairy dust, then let some fun crazy awesomeness pour out of me, and by the end I hopefully the entire audience, will possessed and overcome with love for whatever it is that was suggested.

What was the inspiration behind your show? This is going to sound kind of absurd, but I had been doing comedy for a few years when one day before going on stage it occurred to me that so many comedians, and people in general if I am honest, had hate as a go-to emotion, including me, and it’s often very funny, but I wondered what it would be like to flip that and just start saying that I loved stuff and see where that took me. Now again, this is really strange, but it turned out that loving stuff could also be really funny, and yet made me, and I think the audience, feel way better than hating stuff. Yep, I had stumbled onto a truth I don’t think ever imagined before. Love is better than hate. Once you figure something like that out you just have to share it with as many people as possible.

Why did you decide to do Fringe 2015? And have you been involved in previous/interstate Fringe festivals and how was the experience? This is my first Fringe show ever. I have been to festivals in lots of places, and performed at them here and there in small ways, and always have a great time, but it’s amazing how many times people have told me I must go to the Adelaide Fringe. I have always enjoyed Adelaide the few times I have been there, and am quite positive that this is going to be one of the best experiences of my life.

What makes a good Fringe show? What do you personally look for from the perspective of an audience member? I love in art in so many forms, but regardless of what it is I want to see risks and experiments taken, I want to see commitment and vulnerability, and silliness and open mindedness. I also like shows which implement my theory that business is not the same as busyness. Or my other theory that busyness is the key to successful business. Most of all I want to see originality, show me something I have never seen before and I will love you forever, well the artist might get some of my love too. You guys can duel.

And for a fun random one, in a fantasy world who would you be the love child of? Hmmm, Peter Sellers and a photo of Natalie Portman in Black Swan.
