Presumably you've been to the Newtown Festival before, what's your favourite memory? We're trying to remember the year we saw The Laurels play but well... we've been to so many Newtown festivals that they've all blurred into one big noisey, tasty... messy... dream... Laurels memory tba.
Lots of suburbs put on festivals, but Newtown Festival is always particularly huge - why do you think that is? People want to see what we do here. It's also one of those annual events that let you know the party season is upon us.
Favourite spot at the festival to chill and watch the world go by? We take a more nomadic approach to festival attendance. We'll be doing laps all day.

What would be your entry into the dog show? A cat.
The festival's theme this year is "Home Is Where The Heart Is" - where do you feel most at home in Newtown and why? The back room of Kat's house, which is also our studio where we wrote our EP Polychronic. We'll be launching it at Waywards, one of Newtown's few remaining live music venues on 17 Nov.
The musical line-up this year is all from inner west artists. What is it about the inner west that inspires so much creativity? Newtown brings people from different backgrounds together. We both grew up outside of Sydney and came to Newtown to find our people and make our things. The people we surround ourselves with inspire us.
Of all the food stalls on offer at the Festival, what do you reckon is one we should definitely check out and why? Every time we're hungry at a festival we get overwhelmed by all the choices and end up getting gozleme.
When and where are you performing on the day? 1.30pm on the Essential Stage.
