She's the real deal..

Some more producer gold out of Brisbane.. While Brisbane has been a hotbed of rock'n'roll talent for the past few years (decades), the city is quickly proving no slouch when it comes to the production side of things. People like Young Franco and more recently cln have been killing it for a while now, and today we can add 19-year-old Feki to the mix. His latest original, Nothing Lasts Forever, follows a string of remixes from the likes of GRMM, Kilter and The Preatures, and is a future-beat/chilltrap as they come, but with enough uniqueness to make it worth talking about it. Mastered by another Brissy lad Omniment (whose God Wolf remix we premiered LAST WEEK), it packs some serious soul, sweeping synth-lines, pitched vocals and a cracking snare. Get to know four-piece Spookyland, hailed as Sydney's own Bob Dylan.. On the eve of their upcoming Rock And Roll Weakling EP tour, and some support shows with The Lemonheads later in the year, Sydney outfit Spookyland answer a few sneaky questions for us.

Sydney's Legions have come a long way in their musical evolution since their inception. With the release of their latest 7" 'Apparition Songs' through Broken Hive Records this growth continues, and, put simply, the lads have gotten pretty heavy.

More goodness out of WA, this time from indie-pop dudes Rainy Day Women.. Following a video premiere last week for hard-rocking WA outfit The Love Junkies (check Television HERE), we're very #PerthProud today to unveil some more goodness out of our fair corner of the world in Rainy Day Women's latest single, Mrs Jones. And while we're not quite into the summer months yet, the Rainy Day lads have provided another summery sing-along slice of indie-pop. The four-piece have long flown the flag for WA's long and healthy tradition in pop-rock outfits (think The Sleepy Jackson, The Panics, Split Seconds), and Mrs Jones sets 'em up nicely for the sunny months that feel so close, yet so far away. They're supporting Meg Mac around on her upcoming Australian tour, and you can check the dates after drifting away with Mrs Jones for a few minutes below: UPCOMING SHOWS: FRI 12 SEP | NEWTOWN SOCIAL CLUB, SYDNEY NSW (SOLD OUT)  SAT 13 SEP | NORTHCOTE SOCIAL CLUB, MELBOURNE VIC (SOLD OUT)  SAT 20 SEP |

"Ballifornian" three-piece Twinsy drop the first taste of their upcoming EP, Espiritus.. Ballarat trio Twinsy have dropped a - quite frankly - rocking new single in Tear It Down to announce the release of their upcoming Espiritus EP release - due October 31 via Dew Process/Universal. The first person that sprang to mind was Jonathon Boulet from a couple of years back - all anthemic, banging percussion and sing-alongy, and a bit of a departure from their breakout single, Waterbomb. Trust me when I say you'll be singing along in no time to Tear It Down. The EP is set to feature special guests such as Airling, DZ Deathrays and The Cairos, and we look forward to that release. Follow Twinsy: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD

Sydney's disco-funk duo to the stars keep it fresh on their new single.. Midnight Pool Party have been flying the flag for disco and funk around Sydney parts for a while now, and their new single If You Were Mine (Baby) keeps those vibes in spades. Throwing together splashes of Breakbot, Miami Horror, Flight Facilities and even some Jamiroquai/Stardust, its a groove-laden disco jam that feels as appropriate now as it would have 30 years ago. It's out officially on September 9, with remixes from fellow disco-enthusiast Young Franco and producer cln. Stream/download it for free below, and catch 'em launching it live Saturday 6 September at The Standard in Sydney with We Are The Brave. Follow Midnight Pool Party: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD
