Hidden Treasures returns to Freo's West End for more intimate live goodness this July

No need to be out in the cold this winter, Hidden Treasures returns with another stellar program..

Celebrated music series Hidden Treasures will once again take over Fremantle's West End this coming July with a killer program of exciting WA artists. Now in its eighth year, the month-long series (running each Thursday night) of live shows in some of Freo's quirkiest corners, including The Buffalo Club, The Navy Club and a new, secret location. PS Art Space will be the hip hop and soul hub for Hidden Treasures 2018, featuring Hyclass, Downsyde (featuring new member, Beni Bjah), Reef Prince, New Nausea, Feels, Randa & The Soul Kingdom and more.

The National Hotel hosts a diverse array of acts, including Emlyn Johnson, Turtle Bay Television, Leopard Lake, Jere Sosa, Kopano and more.

The Buffalo Club ups the ante with Paige McNaught Experience, Debbie Downers, Terrible Signal, Nerve Quakes, Tomas Ford, Axe Girl, The Bible Bashers and a special performance from The Runarounds (July 26), featuring former-Jam Tarts members and Fremantle-darlings Lucy Lemann and Sophie Gare plus family guests.

The Navy Club will set sail with J.F.K., The Soul Movers (featuring Perth’s Lizzie McKenzie and former red Wiggle and guitar-wielding hot potato, Murray Cook), Jill Birt & Alsy McDonald, Joe Kapiteyn & Rachel Dease, Lee Sappho & Wayne Green and more for Because The Night Belongs To Lovers (July 12). July 26 will also feature the launch of Freo Groove - Bill Lawrie and Claire Moodie's book about Freo music culture, featuring performances from Lois Olney, Dave Johnston, Jim Fisher, John Wilson and Lucky Oceans, plus Abbe May performs her 2008 album, Howl & Moan.

The Secret Venue will rock and roll thanks to the likes of Last Quokka, Bluenade, Roses For Ghosts, Flossy, Post-Depression Makeout Session and the reformation of Freo legends, Prawns With Horns.

Finally The Fremantle Tram returns after a successful debut last year, hosted by Justin Walshe and touring Freo's picturesque places set to the acoustic sounds of Oosterbanger, Cal Kramer (Southern River Band), David Lawrence and Jay Le Kat.

$20 tickets each night cover all venues and shows, 7.30pm-midnight.
