How did you get together? Josh and I grew up at the beach together, chasing girls and and the next big set. We found David and Jordo living behind the dunes at south Maroubra and liked their no-frills attitude.

Sum up your musical sound in four words: Dreamy east-coast adolescence.

If you could support any band in the world - past or present - who would it be? Probably The 13th Floor Elevators cos' Roky Erickson knew where it was at. Them or The Stones.

You're being sent into space, no iPod, you can bring one album - what would it be? Crowded House - Woodface.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Playing two sets to full houses, in two separate venues, with 15 minutes to pack down and set-up between them. The gear run up Oxford Street was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Why should people come and see your band? The music makes you feel good but also nostalgic for lost innocence. People say the sweet-heartbreak parallel inspires astral travel.
