Five Things You Didn't Know About Bluesfest's Pierce Brothers

In the lead up to the Byron Bay Bluesfest we spoke to some of the 200 artists who will be performing over the five day festival, which kicks off on 24 Mar. We found out five fun and wacky things about Pierce Brothers:

1. Jack and Patrick Pierce are identical twins. Their real names are actually John Patrick and Patrick John. This has been an issue with both the tax and voting offices. They've been fined in the same election for 'failure to vote' and for voting twice due to having the same DOB, address, employer and inverse names.
2. Both have a black belt in Taekwondo.
3. They own a house together in St Andrews Beach, Victoria.
4. Although not anymore, for two years both dated girls with the same name.
5. Jack studied French throughout high school and university. Patrick is now doing night classes to catch up.
