From drama to comedy.

With 50 Cent’s small screen Stan hit Power into its third season and already renewed for two more, it won’t be long until the In Da Club hitmaker is widely remembered for his acting credentials over his musical legacy.

Racking up some decent writing, acting and producing credits since Get Rich Or Die Tryin' 11 years ago, here are some Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson roles you need to check out.

Power

This is a show that needs to be binged. With numerous storylines going down insane paths and crossing wires, its third season gets intense. With 50 Cent producing and playing the role of Kanan, the show tells the story of nightclub owner/drug dealer James “Ghost” St. Patrick. [SPOILERS BELOW]

Before a stint in prison, Kanan was Ghost’s boss and mentor — who set him up. Like we said, things get intense, and 50 Cent is not a guy you want to piss off.

Southpaw

Another Stan title, Acclaimed 2015 sports drama Southpaw is 50 Cent’s biggest feature film casting to date, and his time on Power - channelling that heavier emotional edge — paid off as he takes on the role of manager Jordan Mains and acts alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker and more.

13

Going back a few years to 2010, 50 Cent also rubs shoulders with some of Hollywood’s best in 13, a film about a young man, Vince Ferro (Sam Riley), in need of money who takes on the identity of a dead man and becomes entangled in a mess of underground crime. As Jimmy, 50 Cent gets to hang with action film legends Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke.

Conan’s Young Han Solo Audition Tapes Skit

From drama to comedy, Jackson’s last appearance on talk show Conan showed he’s not afraid to poke fun at himself, while also commanding the biggest cheer, even with Jeff Goldblum, Melissa McCarthy and more also appearing. Star Wars would have been interesting if the Power star had been involved.

Spy

Speaking of McCarthy and 50 Cent rolling with the comedic punches, Spy co-star Miranda Hart had the pleasure of tackling the singer (who plays himself in the film) in one scene – which is no easy feat or something you’d want to try after three seasons of Kanan. 50 Cent quite often pops up on the screen, playing himself; most recently in 2016’s Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.
