Grace & Mid Ayr put on a beautiful performances in Brisbane.

Grace is heading out on tour to showcase her latest single, Pluto and you should be there.. Despite Perth being the most isolated city in the world, the place pumps out artists that challenge the rest of Australia's talent. Just look at Grace, who recently supported Alt-J when they toured 'Australia' (read Sydney & Melbourne) and has released a pulsating, sparse electronic single titled, Pluto (which you can listen to HERE). To celebrate she is heading out on her first national tour, showcasing not only Pluto but other tracks that were produced by the likes of David Sitek from TV On The Radio and Sam Spiegel of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Grace continues WA's fine tradition of powerful female singer/songwriters.. Previously releasing music under her full name Grace Woodroofe and now operating under simply her first, Pluto is the first taste of what we can expect from the WA-born solo artist Grace, and it's a powerful statement. Produced by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek, Pluto melds a sparse electronic beat that explodes into a world of pulsating synths impassioned vocal cries. "This is what it takes to get my hunger back," - if that's not a statement of intent from an artist who's always hovered on the cusp of breaking out into the Australian music scene, I don't know what is.
