The former Slipknot (and current Suicidal Tendencies) drummer is preparing to finally release music under his own name.

Slipknot's upcoming trip down under has gotten bigger with the addition of two headline dates.

"I’ve always said that you will never hear Corey Taylor sing like this,” Slipknot’s Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan says of the upcoming unreleased album.

Aussies Polaris and In Hearts Wake will also perform at the (sic) heavy metal festival curated by Slipknot.

Knotfest Australia will return to Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney in early 2025.

"This is not gonna stop me… I’m gonna be OK," the musician said in a series of Instagram videos.

Slipknot have been opting for a surprising set packed with deep cuts.

The line-up for Knotfest Australia 2025 – headlined by Slipknot – will be revealed later this year.

"It’s an absolute honour and privilege to play with Suicidal Tendencies, and I can’t wait to start this incredibly exciting new chapter".

Former guitarist Adam Siegel was also dragged “out of retirement” to play on the new Infectious Grooves track.
