Get ready for another clash-free day that's all about celebrating heavy music.

With less than a month to go until Knotfest Australia returns to our shores, organisers have shared the long-awaited set times for its events in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
This year’s event is headlined by its namesake band – Slipknot – celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band. They have a long, and at times complicated, history with line-up changes and experimentation in their sound that’s split the fanbase on more than one occasion. However, all of that doesn’t matter when they’re celebrating over two decades of hits and pioneering heavy music.
Knotfest is known for its clash-free set-up, with just two stages situated side-by-side so fans don’t have to run around and miss out on any bands they want to see. This year, in addition to the headliners, the festival has locked in bands, including A Day To Remember, BABYMETAL, Slaughter To Prevail, Within Temptation, Hatebreed (celebrating the 23rd anniversary of Perseverance), Aussies Polaris and In Hearts Wake, and more.
In all three cities, Slipknot take to the stage at 8:40 pm and wrap up their set at 10 pm, a friendly time that allows punters to get home smoothly and not too late (hopefully). The fun begins early with a set by Sunami at 11:35 am. For the last two years, gates for Knotfest have opened at 11 am – chances are they’ll open at the same time this year.
In Hearts Wake are set to perform at 1:40 pm, and Polaris have locked in the late afternoon slot of 5:30 pm. It’s a big day, so check out the playing times below and start planning your Knotfest experience.
