It’s been “20 fucking years” since Dylan Moran wrote a television show, and he's now at work on a new one. He tells Daniel Cribb he’s happy marching to the beat of his own drum – and a little Kanye West, too.
The Irish comic will embark on a two month tour of the country!
"Life does carry on, and it carries on in every single possible way; every single facet of life carries on after some cataclysm event."
"Somehow Moran retains an ever-present sense of joy that prevents his act from sliding into the decadence of misanthropy."
"When a joke didn't hit home, and the audience didn't just reward him for trying, he became more sullen than usual."
"Moran is truly Off The Hook as he speaks frankly about taboo topics such as growing old, death and depression."
"If his demented take on 50 Shades Of Grey turns into its own best-selling series and film, god help us all."
"I know it’s all gloomy and so on, but some of it is very good grist for the comedy mill."
"The essentials of our lives are the same anywhere, whether you live in Paris or New York or Melbourne."
The 'Black Books' star will perform 12 shows around the country in July and August
