Everything from rave and mellow ambient to classic Detroit
Rustie’s second album starts slowly with instrumentals that weave everything from rave and mellow ambient to classic Detroit and the seminal IDM his label released in the ‘90s into contemporary post-dubstep groove.
This album starts to flex some testosterone-fuelled muscle as the streetfightin’ D Double E and Danny Brown spit some fire on the beats. Disturbing the peace, the album shifts gear to drop more energetic electro-pop like Lost, which features Redinho and his funky talk-box. A smooth and voluptuous album composed of tunes that exhibit plenty of taste and class.
