In the thick of an East London winter, POLICA gathered at the Wrapping Power Station to record the magnetic sessions to showcase their tracks, 'Smug' and 'Spilling Lines' from the band's latest album 'Shulasmith'.

As part of AllSaints new 'London Sessions' series, the clips combine music and imagery to produce breathtaking production combined with magnetic sound.

'Smug' is shrouded in a black and white tone and combined with flashing graphics of the band at work, the clip turns out to be haunting and powerful. The cohesive bass and percussion work from the band prove to compliment the echoing vocals from lead singer, Channy Leaneagh.

The dull throb of the lit up strobe in the background combined with the splicing of frames of film create a flowing effect that is propelled by the distortion of Leaneagh's vocals.

'Spilling Lines' is set against the same backdrop as 'Smug' but the sheen of the black and white tone has been stripped and colour is now pulsating before your eyes. Hues of blue, pink, and black turn the band into silhouettes and allow the bass to take front and centre stage.

The twisting graphic effects make you seem as though you may be drunk, combined with the skittish synth work, Polica are creating an atmosphere just for you. The kaleidoscopic imagery make for enjoyable viewing, as though you are peering through rose coloured glasses, possibly while on acid.

The AllSaints 'London Sessions' will be one of those series you will be dying to watch, combined with Polica's exhilarating style of music- these clips are a must see.
