Album Review: Marcia Hines - Amazing

Reality shows and earth music mother clichés or not, Hines has a flawless sound.

More Marcia Hines More Marcia Hines

So there's Russell Crowe singing on this record, you need to be warned. It's hilarious, but this time it's meant to be. The mid-album duet Remedy is both Hines and Crowe in uber camp mode and it's pretty good. She also gets Diesel back on his axe (Equals Three). The rest of the album is more middle-of-the-road but reliable, with The Change a highlight, while final track Imagine isn't the Lennon one, but clearly cut from a similar cloth in terms of being a bit breezy. Reality shows and earth music mother clichés or not, Hines has a flawless sound.
